Call for application My First Job
The organization “Voice of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian” has opened the call for applications for the “My First Job” program for the third generation of 2025. This program is a great opportunity for members of the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities, aged 18 to 34, who are seeking their first job.
The goal of the program is to encourage the empowerment of young people from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities for employment and to support the economy in addressing the issue of labor shortages.
Through this program, we aim to provide young people with the opportunity to be assisted by mentors and company staff during their practical work, enhance their professional skills through on-the-job training, and familiarize themselves with the company and its regulations for a period of six (6) months.
Jetmir Fazlijaj, a graduate student from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Prishtina, is following a promising path in general medicine. After successfully completing his studies, Jetmir has already started his practical work at the Family Medicine Center (QMF) in Vitomiricë. This commitment marks an important step for him, both professionally and in serving the community, where he applies the knowledge and skills gained during his years of study. During his time at the Faculty of Medicine, Jetmir demonstrated unwavering dedication to the profession, overcoming numerous academic and practical challenges that have shaped the foundation for his future success as a doctor. Currently, the practical work at QMF-Vitomiricë gives him the opportunity to better understand the challenges of healthcare in the field, directly helping patients and the community.
Aida, a general nurse engaged at "Avicena" in Mitrovica, is undergoing an intensive and fruitful practical work period. During this time, she has shown dedication and high competence, becoming an important part of the team of professionals at this center. Thanks to her daily commitment, Aida has not only enriched her professional skills but is also experiencing a positive and special feeling through her practical experience. As a person dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients, she is always ready to help and improve. The practice at "Avicena" has provided Aida with the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during her studies, making her feel filled with positive energy and confident about her journey in the field of medicine.
